2nd in Command - Music Video by Tex & the Outlaws

2nd in Command

by Tex & the Outlaws

It was my great honor to act the role of a criminal in Tex's video 2nd in Command

This generous kind-hearted man, Tex, gave me a place to park my home in 2013/2014 while living full-time in my motorhome in Columbus, Ohio. The neighborhood was one of the roughest in the city, at the time known as 'murder row' for the number of area homicides. Nevertheless, it was affordable and felt safe enough for me to lay my head for about a year. During that time Tex befriended me, sharing his faith and bits of pieces of his stories in Christ. Along the way he asked if I would be interested in acting a part in a music video he was in the process of making. I agreed. It was my joy and honor to be a part of 2nd in Command

Thank You - Ray Boltz

Songs that strategically impacted my life journey - Thank You by Ray Boltz is in the top collection. The story told is a summary of my everlasting appreciation for all who through the years contributed to my very delayed and stubborn birth in Christ at age 43.

I SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED YOU - AngryDank Nelson

HIP HOP - I SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED YOU

“My son,
do not forget My teaching,
but keep My commands in your heart,
Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”
Proverbs 3:1,3,5

SALVATION - UNEARNED, ETERNAL, ENDURING

The basis for my belief on Salvation.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:27-29
The Christian Research Institute mirrors my belief and points to other passages which build a case which confirms the eternal condition of the Lord's flock.

God chose me before I chose Him. Why, me? NOT a CluE! But, He doesn't make mistakes.
I suppose I will throw this up on a post for others to consider. Maybe, it will help another Christian to better understand their relationship with their adoptive Heavenly Father.

"Sincere believers are sharply divided on this question. Some say Christians can lose their salvation and subsequently must be born again and again if they fall away. Others contend that true believers cannot lose their salvation through sin, but they can apostatize or walk away from their salvation. Still others hold that salvation begins at the moment of conversion (not death) and continues for all eternity—I hold this view for several reasons."

CREATION AND LOVE

The trinkets of creation are beyond dazzling to these eyes, but, as my mind's eye moves past that which can be understood I then wonder, why and by whom? As I am part of the fabric of creation, and can reason, my attention is now directed at my perceived existence in relationship to my Creator and love. For what other reason would man be given the ability to process complexities, if not to discover the answer to his essential quest - who made me and why?

Wouldn't this knowledge bring a peaceful resolve to mankind? Or, is there more to this eternal quest than the mind's eye can perceive?

APPLE REMOVES CHRISTIAN APP MANHATTAN DECLARATION

In an attempt to completely erase God and everything He stands for a societal kingpin, Apple, pulls out it's big eraser and removes one of it's few redeeming products - The Manhattan Declaration.
This product "speaks in defense of the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and religious liberty. It issues a clarion call to Christians to adhere firmly to their convictions in these three areas".
The sodomite organization called Change.org made the complaint that the Apple App, The Manhattan Declaration, was promoting good, moral God-centered family values and found that to be very offensive to their sinful, sons-of-Satan sodomy loving life styles.

"Late last week, Apple quietly removed the Manhattan Declaration app, which had been available since mid-October, after an online petition was circulated calling the app a "hate fest" and saying that the Manhattan Declaration pushes "hateful and divisive language." The petition, which originated on Change.org, wished to tell Apple "that supporting homophobia and efforts to restrict choice is bad business."" SOURCE: FOXNATION

The Innocent Blood The LORD Would Not Pardon

"In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him. 2 And the LORD sent against him raiding bands of Chaldeans, bands of Syrians, bands of Moabites, and bands of the people of Ammon; He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD which He had spoken by His servants the prophets. 3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, 4 and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon." 2 Kings 24

The Unborn: Does the Humanity of the Unborn Matter Anymore?

Pro-lifers in the United States have always assumed that if they could demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that the fetus is a human person, then it would be only a matter of time before the courts and legislatures would declare nontherapeutic abortion — the willful destruction of a living fetus — unjustified homicide. Thus the pro-life view would be vindicated and nontherapeutic abortion would once again be illegal.

Some days the battle seems too huge and victory only elusive - especially when I engage in a conversation with one who claims Jesus as Lord and Savior, yet, have voted for the worst baby butcher to ever have walked the earth.

I don't understand. And, mostly desire not to try. A failure of mine.

Many flock to churches over money concerns - what about the blood?!

It is a sad state of affairs in America, the Beautiful, most blessed by the mercy and grace of God if only by withholding their mammon might His people seek to draw closer to Him. Even worse, shoudn't we, His people have sought Him sooner to relieve the continuing slaughter of our most prescious and innocent children within their own mother's wombs?

And, now, our mammon through taxes, is being used world-wide to murder even greater numbers of babies! Is it any wonder that He is drawing back His provisions to us through the legislative actions of those now leading America?

The harvest is great - and, few are the workers. Many 'churches' will miss the point completely. Their focus will continue to be on mammon and not on God. Those created in His image are being destroyed before their first breath ... and, shockingly, some after their first breath!

God help us, all.

Submission? ... Romans - think!!

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgement on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience sake. Because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor" Rom 13:1-7

Tricky business, applying scripture to current events. Could the first couple of lines indicate that whomever resists the Obama regime is resisting God? And, will surely bring judgement upon themselves? By application, Obama is not a terror to good works and he is a terror to those who do evil - like abortionists?? .... hmmm.... something is not jiving with this model of application. Obama seems to approve of baby murder so much that he has authorized the distribution of the tax money I give to him, for the good of America, to instead do evil worldwide in the form of billions of dollars for baby butchering abortionists in other nations.

How can this be? Obama is God's minister to us for good? Murdering babies is good? Obama is an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil? What, he will execute wrath upon his own self? Things seem to be a bit twisted. Is it possible that this bit of scripture, and others like it, cannot be applied at all times and in all situations?

A side thought: Obama has not yet produced a valid birth certificate to qualify as a presidential candidate. Why not, Mr. Obama? Such a simple thing to do to satisfy the now numerous active law suits against you by concerned American citizens. Why no birth certificate? I do not accept this breach of the Constitution of the United States of America. Should I accept a man who would take the office of President by pistol and force - a coup? I think not! Yet, there he is! How can this be? Only by the hand of an angry God? How many babies have we butchered?... ?

The prophet Jeremiah had to endure an evil ruler. He was captive and even imprisoned for speaking the truth of God. The promise of a restored nation gave him hope; of a restored nation after the ravages of evil rulers had left but a remnant of God's people to rebuild.

"Thus says the Lord: 'Again there shall be heard in this place - of which you say, "It is desolate, without man and without beast" - in the cities of Judah, in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate without man and without inhabitant and without beast, the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: " Praise the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His Mercy endures forever" - and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first', says the Lord."Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all it's cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down." Jer33 10-12

Well, I wonder, is history to be repeated again? If we are to submit to evil - or perish - is God going to remove the evil rulers after a time and only a remnant of Godly people are left in captivity? Will a day come in America where the shepherds and their flocks can safely dwell? Or, are we waiting for something that shall never come till His Kingdom comes?

'Til then, I am not sure what to do with this command of submission... except, definitely, to pray.
